What is a typical day for you at work?
There is no “normal” day, every
day is different! It all depends on what
projects are going on, what approvals are
needed, what is the newest “hot” topic.
My current position is relatively new to
the company so it’s exciting because
I get to help grow and develop my position.
There is always something to do, never a
dull moment.
Why did you decide to come to City National?
Honestly, I was hired as a prime-time teller
and really knew nothing about the bank
when I started, but as my career grew with
the bank so did my appreciation and respect
for the company. Why do you like working at CNB?
I always feel like I am learning, growing,
and being challenged. And the people! Liking
who you work with is important and I have
met fantastic people here at the bank and
developed strong relationships with many
of them. Before you came to City National, you were
...
A teenager! Seriously, I started the bank
when I was seventeen (I probably shouldn’t
say that since now everyone can figure out
my age) but I haven’t regretted any
of those years for a minute. I have been
extremely blessed to work for this company
and am the perfect example to show that there
really is room to grow and move up in this
company. What is your proudest professional accomplishment?
I would have to say my part in one of the
bank's acquisitions. I helped to transition
one of the acquired bank's offices
to City National Bank. The colleagues were
fabulous so they really made the transition
successful, but the relationships that
I built with the colleagues there during
my time on the project really made me
proud. I didn’t really
feel like I went out of my way doing anything
special while I was there, but the colleagues
in the office were so appreciative of my
help and support that it really meant a
lot to me. That project made me really
appreciate that sometimes its not the big
things, but all the little things that
really matter. |
