Q: What is Investment Account View?
A:
Investment Account View lets you view your Investment Statements online, see the current market value of your accounts and view up-to-the-minute activity and holdings through Portfolio Review.

The statement is presented in PDF format for easy printing or downloading to your computer. You can also download your holdings or gain/loss schedules for any statement end date in spreadsheet format

Q. What is Portfolio Review?
A.
Portfolio Review is an online service for City National Trust and Investment clients to review their assets and account activity online.

Q. How are Portfolio Review and Investment Account View accessed?
A. These programs accessed through services.cnb.com.  Other online services offered, via a single logon ID and depending on the City National products you use, include Financial Summary, Brokerage and Retirement Services.

Q: How can I obtain a Logon ID for these applications?
A:
Any member of your Relationship Team can assist you. You will find their phone numbers on the cover page of your printed Investment Statement.

Q: Will I be able to view statements for all of my accounts?
A:
You will be able to view all of the Investment Statements that you currently receive in the mail from us. If you receive statements at more than one address, just let us know which ones you would like to view online.

Q: How can my investment advisor (accountant, business manager, bookkeeper) view my statements online?
A:
With your permission, we will set up a "Company Administrator ID" for yourself or your designee. You will then have complete control over who is granted access to your account information. We require that you sign an agreement before we establish a Company Administrator.

Q: Can I download current information onto a spreadsheet?
A:
Yes, you can download your holdings or gain/loss information as of any available statement ending date. You can also combine information for several statements periods or for several accounts into one spreadsheet.

Portfolio Review provides the ability to customize filters and then download current holdings and 16 months of activity in spreadsheet format as well.

Q: Are previous month's statements available online?
A:
The system will maintain up to 15 months of historical statements.

Q. What if I can't log in to the system, or I forgot my User ID or password?
A.
Contact our Technical Support Group at (877) 442-4262.

Keep in mind, your Password:
  • Must be between 8-50 characters
  • Must contain at least one number and one letter
  • Is case sensitive.
